Are you afraid of a change? Reasons Why You Shouldn't be

There isn’t a single day that we don’t change in one way or another. Like the nature change with every season so do we with different situations and people in our life. There are the little changes that we don’t even realize happened. Sometimes even a thought of a change scare us and we get nervous even thinking about it. We live a life in which we follow a certain routine and everything that stands in a way of that routine we feel afraid of and uneasy. Most of people look at change as something risky and uncomfortable when in fact it can be the best thing that can happen to you.

CHANGE IS NECESSARY FOR GROWTH
If you look back at you ten or even five years ago you’ll notice that you then and you now are maybe even a completely different person. Your look, preference and mindset changed because of changes that happened in your life. Those changes may be starting a high school, meeting new people, joining different classes or just learning new things that made a big impact on you. If we don’t change then we don’t grow and if we don’t grow we can’t live our life as we are supposed to. If you stayed the same as you were you wouldn’t be able to survive in the situations you are in today.

You needed to change so you can adapt and realize what is good for you and what isn’t. Every change, either bad or good is what helps you to get closer to becoming the person you are meant to be. You’ll get across a lot more changes in your life so don’t look at them as something bad. Rather look at them as a new opportunity, start and a new chapter of your life. Take a few deep breaths and head forward as that one change can completely turn your life for the better.

CHANGE IS WHAT KEEPS YOU GOING
Without the change we would just stay at the same place living the same life over and over again, day by day. Because it’s something unusual from your everyday life it makes it more fun and interesting. It keeps you thinking, over thinking and exploring new solutions. It’s something that makes your heart beat and although it makes you feel nervous it also means that it’s important. Every big change as figuring out your future, moving, going to university, falling in love, getting a first job, getting married, having kids, etc. is the part of life that as scary as it may look is natural.

At first it seems scary and big but once it’s there you easily get used to it because we have that ability to adapt at even the hardest of situations. Change is good so don’t try to push it away as that might be the first reaction when you come across it. Just take it as a next challenge you need to work on and try to figure out how to get pass it without stressing over it too much. Follow your gut feeling and don’t tread. Think about it as a path you’re walking on with a lot of different roads left and right, some of them are just little roads and some of them are the big ones.

CHANGE DOESN’T EQUAL BAD
I’m sure that at least once in your life someone said to you “You changed!” and you could definitely sense that they didn’t mean it in a good way. I don’t know why people find change a bad thing. Thank God you changed as if you didn’t that would be a bigger problem. I don’t want to say that nobody changes for the bad, but the problem is that people find even a little change in attitude or mindset as something bad. Just because you don’t have the same interests as you used to have with your friends or you don’t won’t to do certain things doesn’t make you a bad person.

We make connections and friends in specific periods of our lives and growing out of them in another period isn’t something bad. There is no need to cling onto past you just for the sake of not loosing someone as then you just can’t grow and be yourself. I’m sure that you had a lot of friend when you went to high school and now you don’t hang out with those people anymore. That’s because you did changed, you all did and you realized that those aren’t the people you see yourself surrounded with and that’s completely normal.
